The goal of Old Towne
Music's Drama class is to create a well rounded actor or actress
out of your child; building self confidence and stimulating their
imaginations.

Offering beginner class for young
actors and actresses. Working on the fundamentals of acting,
while having fun with improvisation and interpreting script dialogue.
All classes are taught in groups,
with strict attention is paid to vocal, facial and physical expression
for maximum effect. Take home tests, and character creations
are often homework assignments which involve the parents as well.
Also, each student helps to write
their own sketch, which is video taped as a record of their progress.
The students will learn to think
quickly and react to any given situation. Discipline is stressed
when performing, keeping the students in character throughout
the scenes (no matter how silly the scene may get).
The class also helps with preparation
for auditions, whether it be for a musical or non-singing role.
