Private Lessons
at Old Towne Music
Old Towne Music has provided
private music lessons in all instruments and voice since 1974,
using the latest techniques available. All instrumental and vocal
lessons are half-hour, one-on-one private lessons with a highly
qualified Old Towne Music teacher.
Every teacher is degreed or
has passed a comprehensive performance and instructional evaluation
before they are made available to teach with Old Towne Music.
Playing a musical instrument
provides the opportunity for self-expression, creativity, and
self-achievement. It also promotes problem solving skills, goal
setting, coordination, self-discipline, self-confidence, memory
skills and concentration!
We would like to encourage students
taking music lessons through their schools music program to consider
taking private lessons as well. Many music instructors do not
have the time needed to dedicate one-on-one attention to their
music students because of constrictive time schedules. Adding
private music instruction can give the student the special attention
they need to jump start their music interest for the rest of
their lives!
