Absolutely no make-up lessons will be given for missed lessons. Tuition is a flat monthly fee. We do not give any make-ups or reschedules because the teachers are paid for all lessons whether students attend lessons or not. We fully recognize that a student cannot make each and every lesson all year, therefore, we give you 4 free lessons per calender year. Each quarter there is a month where there is 5 lessons in the month instead of 4. These are the lessons that you receive at no charge but we still pay our teachers for these lessons.

Absences:

Unscheduled Absences- If you are absent from a lesson for any reason, please notify our staff at the lesson desk as soon as possible. Regardless of the nature of your absence, you are still responsible for payment of that lesson, as your teacher is still obligated to be present for your scheduled time. There will be no credits issued and no makeups.

Scheduled Absences- If you are aware of a specific absence please notify the staff at the desk at the beginning of the month. You will be entitled to 2 lessons per calender year that you are not charged and can use at your discretion with at least 2 weeks advance notice, after you have been with Old Towne Music for 3 months. Students usually used these 2 credits for vacation time.
